Next, let's take some time to appreciate what blooms this month has to offer!

Wisteria vines are beginning to bloom on the House. Many of the plants date from the Bourn era (1917-1935).
Don't miss the green and white beauty of the blossoming Pear Tree Allee, at the north end of the Rose Garden.
The Sunken Garden is beginning to bloom with the rich lavender-blue color of Camassia, a bulb native to the Western U.S. known as wild hyacinth.
Yellow 'Akebono' Tulip and 'Citrona Yellow' Wallflower are blooming in the narrow bed north of the Sunken Garden under the Balustrade.
''Ward's Ruby' Azalea command attention in spring with a show of ruby-red flowers. Historic to Filoli, they were introduced by the Domoto nursery in the East Bay.
The Lilac shrubs along the east edge of the Daffodil field in the Garden Orchard feature fragrant blooms in shades of purple, pink, and white.
Clouds of pink Azalea light up the understory in the Woodland Garden.
Trees in the Perennial Border and Tree Peony Bed are coming into bloom, including this double-flowered pink Crabapple.
You may still see the last of the season's flowering Magnolias. This Magnolia cylindrica is among the last to flower along the front drive to the House.
Bearded Irises are flowering along the Iris Border between the Garden Orchard and Yew Allee. Did you know that the word "iris" means "rainbow" in Ancient Greek?
The Tree Peonies are just beginning to bloom in the Tree Peony Bed, including some donated to Filoli by renowned nursery-owner Toichi Domoto.
To the delight of native bees, wildflowers and native shrubs like this Blueblossom Ceanothus are blooming abundantly on the California Trail.
In the Walled Garden, the Weeping Higan Cherry trees' long branches are heavy with blossoms.
Rhododendrons brings vibrancy to the shaded Woodland Garden. These flowers were a favorite of Lurline Roth, along with her beloved camellias.
The Lady Banks' Rose cascades down walls in the Clock Tower Shop courtyard. This thornless species is the first rose to bloom at Filoli each year.
The double layer of petals on these 'Foxy Foxtrot' Tulips creates a fuller, ruffled look.
Catch the bright orange blooms of our state flower, the California poppy, in the Cutting Garden.
The potted Citrus bloom in winter and spring, like this dramatic 'Flying Dragon' Trifoliate Orange, placed in the Vegetable Garden.
