Fight for a just cause. Love your fellow man. Live a good life.

The words that inspired the naming of this Historic House and Garden over 100 years ago have never been more relevant as we share this estate and its story with an increasingly diverse and global audience. Ever since Mrs. Roth donated Filoli to the National Trust for Historic Preservation in 1976, charitable gifts from those committed to saving places have helped us advance our mission to preserve, interpret, and steward the cultural traditions and natural history of this country estate. As we embark on a bold new era in Filoli’s history, please consider making a gift to The Annual Fund.

“It progresses little by little, but it takes time to develop a place if it is to have charm and individuality.” – Agnes Moody Bourn, 1924

The Bourn and Roth families had an incredible vision for Filoli as they created and then shared what has become a world-class destination experienced by hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. It is with great pride that our board, staff, and volunteers work together and with outside organizations to set a high standard for the care and ongoing evolution of this place – one of the finest remaining 20th-century country estates. In the years to come, we look forward to taking the lessons of the past 100 years to further promote the estate’s historical significance and share its beauty, vibrancy, and inspired design to the public and future generations.

Gifts of any size are greatly appreciated. We are able to receive donations in many forms cash, in-kind, grants, sponsorship, stock, corporate matching, and planned giving.
