Woodside, CA, October 20, 2022– With just over 30 days until the start of their holiday season, Filoli has had an amazing response with advance ticket sales. Holidays at Filoli, the premier Bay Area light attraction, is the time to make special memories, bask in the vibrant landscape, and spend time together where inspiration glows.
“We are so excited about the incredible community response to Holidays at Filoli pre-sale this year,” says Chief External Relations Officer Susan O’Sullivan. She feels the enthusiasm is because of the unique experience people can only have at Filoli. “Holidays at Filoli is beyond just lights or a decorated house, it is a carefully curated, immersive experience where you can spend time with loved ones”. But, she said, it is important to plan ahead. “Last year some of the experiences were sold out. This year, even more people are planning ahead and booking their tickets in advance, which we highly recommend!”
Filoli’s 2022 holiday happenings will include a return of the super popular Santa Days in December. Families won’t want to miss this one-of-a-kind Santa experience. Set on his festive golden throne on Filoli’s exquisitely decorated Woodland Court, jolly old Saint Nick is available for family photos and magical memories from 10am-4pm on every Santa Day. Festive snacks, holiday libations, and crackling firepits surround the picturesque vignette.
Guests looking for a special VIP experience can still book a private firepit experience on select dates and times throughout the season. Nestled in the cozy glow of the Dining Room Terrace under Filoli’s stunning red oak, firepit guests receive private seating in this exclusive area, Filoli’s beloved mulled wine, hot whiskey cider, cabernet, and chardonnay. There are many times and dates still available.
Along with these special programs, Filoli’s historic House, Garden, Estate Trail, Clock Tower Shop and holiday bar will be open every day and night for guests to enjoy. This year, Filoli plans a record-breaking 20+ miles worth of lights strung throughout the Garden. Holiday visitors will be greeted by a twinkling wonderland, where luminous exhibits of sea greens and blues, gold, and crystal take inspiration from the surrounding landscape and its natural elements. The magic doesn’t stop outdoors; Filoli’s historic House is decked out in divine decor with fourteen Christmas trees and thousands of ornaments that bring history to life.

Holidays at Filoli Hours
Tickets are on sale now and sellouts are expected! Advanced tickets are required and can be purchased at filoli.org/holidays. Ticket prices increase on November 19, 2022 and Filoli recommends planning in advance.
Filoli will be open for the holiday season from November 19, 2022 through January 8, 2023, daily from 10am-9pm. Both the House and Garden, as well as the Clock Tower Shop and Quail Café, will be open during all holiday hours. Filoli will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
