During Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month, view highlights from Filoli's bonsai collection with object labels in English, Japanese, and Chinese.
Tall Foxgloves provide a backdrop for Tree Roses like 'Double Delight' in the Chartres Garden.
Flowering Rhododendrons and Dogwoods bring vibrancy to the shaded Woodland Garden, which was designed as a transitional space between the Formal Garden and the oak woodland around.
Look for the unique color of the 'Distant Drums' Rose in the Cutting Garden. Bronze color in the middle of each bloom fades to pink-purple on the outside. A favorite of floral designers!
The iconic white flowers of the Chinese Fringe Tree make it the best time of year for photos of the Clock Tower across the Sunken Garden!
Sweet Peas grow along the outside of the Cutting Garden cages. Inside, you can spot delicate Ranunculus, or Persian Buttercup, ready to star in House flower arrangements.
