Meet up with other Filoli members to connect over shared interests every Wednesday this summer! Meetups are casual self-guided opportunities for members without instructors or staff leads.
Member Meetups
Garden Poets
First Wednesday of the Month | June 1, July 6, & August 3
Filoli poets are invited to meet up, write together, and share their work while finding inspiration in the Garden and Natural Lands. Filoli will email a list of suggested blooming locations and guidelines, and share members’ finished work occasionally on our social media channels.
Nature Journaling
Second Wednesday of the Month | June 8, July 13, & August 10
Filoli members who enjoy nature journaling will meet up in different areas of the garden and natural lands once a month to share ideas and techniques. Members will be provided with a suggested list of supplies and seasonal ideas on what to see and sketch. Filoli will occasionally share members’ work through email to the group.
Watercolor Painting
Third Wednesday of the Month | June 15, July 20, & August 17
Filoli members interested in watercolor painting in the garden will gather once a month to compare tips and techniques. Filoli will email a list of suggested supplies and guidelines, and share members’ finished work occasionally.
Stroller Parents
Last Wednesday of the Month | June 29, July 27, & August 31
Filoli members with children in strollers gather and walk Filoli’s backroads once a month. Filoli membership staff will lead the first month’s group and provide maps for subsequent groups.
