Join us for a shared conversation with Ramaytush Ohlone leaders, celebrating the opening of Filoli’s new Spring Creek Trail and Lamchin Interpretive Center. We are honored to have co-curated the Center with leaders from the Association of Ramaytush Ohlone (ARO). Filoli is located on the unceded ancestral homeland of the Lamchin, an independent tribe of the Ramaytush Ohlone peoples.
Hear from Gregg Castro, ARO Cultural Director, and Jonathan Cordero, ARO Executive Director. They will discuss Ramaytush history and culture and take questions from the audience. The talk will be in Filoli’s Visitor Center, located next to the parking lot. When the program concludes at noon, join Filoli staff and ARO members on a 1-mile hike to the new Center.
