You’ll get the opportunity to explore the ‘then & now’ of life at Filoli, take in the scenic views while learning about onsite horticulture, and play with unique traits of the House. Enjoy this sweeping 90-minute tour that takes you off the beaten path. See how Filoli has been an enduring place of culture, nature, play, and beauty.
Cost: $40, Filoli Admission is required for this tour.
Please note: The Discovery Filoli Tour is a walking tour with limited opportunities to sit and includes the use of steps over uneven terrain.

Insider's Garden Tour

Third Thursday of the Month | 1:30–3pm
Discover Filoli's garden anew on this exclusive tour with the seasoned horticulture staff who know every inch of it. Learn about the history of the 16-acre English Renaissance garden, the stories of its treasured specimens, and journey behind the walls to see the magic that makes it happen. This is your opportunity to ask our horticultural experts your burning questions — whether about your home garden or your favorite Filoli tree!
Cost: $175

House Curatorial Tour
March through October 2025
First Thursday of the Month | 1:30–3pm
Discover the stories that bring the House to life with Filoli’s Curatorial Team. Glimpse into the behind-the-scenes life of Filoli past and present including the Curatorial offices, upstairs historic bedrooms, and sweeping views from the family library. Start the tour with sparkling wine and a special gift to take home.
Cost: $175
Please note: House Curatorial Tour includes the use of stairs; elevator is not available.
