Are Filoli memberships fully tax deductible?

All basic level memberships (Filoli 1 through Filoli Family) are fully tax-deductible.

For Guild and Circle levels, IRS rules restrict tangible benefits for tax deductibility purposes. Benefits may include complimentary admission to Summer Nights, Holidays at Filoli (included with Circle levels), and the Guild Tea Party. For full tax deductibility, donors must waive these benefits. Please contact the membership office at membership@filoli.org to waive these benefits when you purchase or renew your membership. Please speak with your tax advisor regarding any questions you have.

Can I pay for my Filoli Membership with a Donor Advised Fund?

Yes, you can pay for your membership using your donor advised fund by waiving all tangible benefits. In the designation field on the DAF request form, please indicate that you wish to renew your Filoli membership, and include your name and member number (if known). Once you request the grant, please contact the membership office at membership@filoli.org or 650.364.8300 x2 to let us know you requested it. We will make sure to process it as a membership once we receive your donation.

Can I apply my tickets to the cost of a membership?

Yes! General admission tickets can be applied to membership. This includes daytime tickets for Holidays at Filoli (Gilded and Thistlewyck). The number of tickets you can apply depends on the guest access included in your membership. For instance, two tickets can be applied to a Filoli 2 or higher membership, but not to a Filoli 1. Please note that the total value of applied tickets can’t exceed the membership price. Tickets can be redeemed within 7 days of visitation.

How do I book tickets online?

At the top of the home page, select "Tickets" in the right-hand corner. From the dropdown menu, select "Member Admission Tickets". Once you are on the day you'd like to visit, select the preferred arrival window. Once you are on the reservations page, sign in to your account.

For booking guest tickets, select "Member Guest" ticket type under Member Admission. Guests and children included with your membership will need to be accompanied by a named member when you check in.

I just bought a new membership. How do I register my account?

You can register your account at this link: https://51772.blackbaudhosting.com/51772/page.aspx?pid=201.

Please make sure to use the same email address, name, and contact information you used when purchasing the membership. A duplicate account will be created if you use information that does not correspond to your membership. If you would like to change your email address or contact information, please contact the membership office at membership@filoli.org.

How can I book additional tickets?

Filoli members can buy 4 additional tickets (beyond what their membership covers) with a 20% discount each day.

Select “Tickets” in the right hand corner of this screen. Select “General Admission Tickets” for the desired date and time block you’d like to book for. Sign in to your account as you would when booking member tickets. As long as you are signed in, you will receive a 20% discount on up to 4 general admission tickets each visit.

If you cannot attend with your guests, you are welcome to buy tickets for your friends and family with this discount. Simply forward them the tickets.
