Sensory Hour
Celebrate the season at Filoli, where timeless traditions meet exquisite holiday charm. Wander through the stately historic House and lush winter Garden, adorned with dazzling décor that captures the joy of Christmas.
For those needing a quieter experience, sensory hours with reduced sound and crowds will be offered every Friday, November 28th through December 26th, one hour before opening! Plan your Sensory Hour reservation by contacting tickets@filoli.org!
Filoli Unwrapped
Tuesdays & Thursdays in December

60-minute experience
This behind-the-scenes tour will reveal the hidden secrets of the historic House and grant guests exclusive access to the upstairs. Highlights include viewing the curatorial offices and the sweeping vistas from family bedrooms, upstairs sitting rooms, and balconies.

- 60-minute guided tour with a member of Filoli’s Curatorial Team
- Daytime admission to Holidays at Filoli: enjoy the magic of Gilded and Thistlewyck
- Behind-the-scenes, exclusive access to the upstairs of the House

Toto's Tea
December 7, 20, 21, 22 & 23, 2025

Make magical memories this holiday season with Toto’s Tea, inspired by the Bourn family’s beloved French Bulldog, Toto. Enjoy festive treats, storytelling, engaging activities, and a cuddly Toto plushie to take home—all in a winter wonderland setting.
While little ones soak up the seasonal magic, adults can relax and enjoy a complimentary festive drink—with more available for purchase if you’re feeling extra merry.

Hair of the Dog Hike

Shake off the old year and step into the new with our Hair of the Dog Hike at Filoli!
Rejuvenate your senses and embrace fresh beginnings with this revitalizing 2-mile, self-guided hike—featuring exclusive access to private trails only open for special events.
Breathe in the crisp New Year’s air as you make your way through stunning landscapes, stopping at three refreshment stations along the route to enjoy a beverage of your choice (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) served in a souvenir cup.
