Celebrate new beginnings and the rich traditions of this joyous holiday in a day filled with culture, connection, and the stunning beauty of the Garden.

Celebrating Lunar New Year with Winnie Wong

Celebrate Lunar New Year with an enchanting performance by musician Winnie Wong. Guests will experience the vibrant sounds of traditional Chinese instruments and learn about the cultural significance of the holiday. Join us for a joyful celebration filled with music, storytelling, and community as we welcome a new year of luck, harmony, and renewal.

Historic House Display
As you explore the Historic House, look for vignettes celebrating the holiday, including a red envelope exchange and game of Mahjong. A special floral display inspired by Lunar New Year will accompany highlights from Filoli's Asian art collection. In the Garden House, citrus trees show off their richly colored fruit, a symbol of good luck and prosperity for the new year.
