In the House
Historic House Display
As you explore the Historic House, look for vignettes celebrating the holiday, including a red envelope exchange and game of Mahjong. A special floral display inspired by Lunar New Year will accompany highlights from Filoli's Asian art collection. In the Garden House, citrus trees show off their richly colored fruit, a symbol of good luck and prosperity for the new year.
Blooming Quince Display
Stop by the Dining Room and marvel at a Lunar New Year floral display celebrating the season of renewal. A thicket of blooming quince branches rises in a striking arrangement that symbolizes winter’s transition into spring and an auspicious beginning to the year ahead. On view through February 28, the branches gently unfurl into a vibrant burst of lucky red and coral blossoms.
