In 1910, William Bourn purchased the beautiful Muckross estate in Ireland as a wedding present for his daughter Maude. Muckross served as his inspiration to build Filoli in the country overlooking the Crystal Springs Reservoir. Like Filoli, Muckross is a historic House and Garden worth preserving and celebrating. Visitors of Muckross can still see spinning and weaving carried out in traditional fashion. Find textiles, apparel, and notebooks from the Muckross estate at the Clock Tower Shop.

About Filoli’s Clock Tower Shop
The Clock Tower Shop, located in the Carriage House under the beautiful clock tower, is filled with cheerful seasonal and Filoli–inspired merchandise, clothing, gifts and furniture throughout the year. A variety of pots, plants, garden décor and accessories can be found in the courtyard adjacent to the Shop. Friendly staff and volunteers in the Shop are happy to help you with your purchases. While you are shopping in the courtyard, be sure to visit our Garden Information Docents. These specially–trained volunteers can help you with cultivation questions about plants for your own garden and also answer questions about Filoli’s horticultural practices and plant collections.
