Botanical artists need to achieve a high level of detail in their watercolor work in order to accurately represent plants. By evaluating and applying value change and using fine brushwork you can create realistic textures. Complete exercises using different techniques for painting smooth and irregular surfaces.
Prerequisite: Some botanical art watercolor experience
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations up to 2-weeks prior to a class are subject to a 25% cancellation fee. Cancellations less than 2-weeks prior to a class are non-refundable. Filoli does not issue credits for future classes.
