2-DAY CLASS: Friday & Saturday, April 12 & 13, 9:30am – 3:30pm
Find inspiration in Filoli’s spring garden where a variety of colorful flowers emerge from bulbs. Tangled roots and bulbs with many layers can add dimension to your painting. Students will focus on creating depth by applying transparent layers of paint from washes to dry brush techniques. Prerequisite: Some botanical art experience.
This class counts as an elective for the Botanical Art Certificate program.
