This class introduces the technique known as ‘dry felting’, in which fleece fibers are turned into objects using a barbed needle. You will first make a basic shape using white fleece and felting needles. Then the body will be embellished with colored fleece to create a quail, either realistic or flight of fancy! You will also learn how to make and attach legs to help the bird either stand or perch to fit your decor. Fee includes all materials.
This class takes place on the second floor of the historic House. Access to this class is by stairs only. For questions about accessibility, please contact the Education office by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 650-364-8300 x 263.
