Margo Horn will provide the historical backdrop for Filoli as a place to live and work in the early to mid-20th century. She will look at the people who made Filoli home in the context of California’s attitudes and legislation on immigration in this era, and the relationship between the community at Filoli and the diversity of immigrant groups who settled in California in the 20th century.
