Saturdays, February 11, March 11, April 8, May 20, June 10, July 15, August 12 and September 16, 10:30 am – 3:00 pm (with a 30 minute lunch break at 12:30 – see lunch options below).
This informative series is for the home gardener who wants an in–depth understanding of plants and gardening. Courses will cover a broad range of topics including plant growth and plant uses, garden design and seasonal maintenance. This series is suitable for the novice gardener or those with some prior knowledge or experience. A Certificate of Completion will be given to those completing all fifteen courses. Classes take place in the classroom and in the Garden; please dress appropriately.
This class meets in the Visitor and Education Center lobby and begins promptly at 10:30 am. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the class start time; late arrivals are not guaranteed participation. It then moves to another location on the property that is approximately one-tenth of a mile away; a 3-5 minute walk.
