Botanical Art Classes

A- A A+

Botanical Art combines the observational skills of a scientist with the sensibility of an artist. The result is a rendering of a plant that is both accurate and beautiful. All classes are open to all students, however, some classes require prerequisites.

For the Class Catalog, please visit the Adult Classes Overview page. Additional classes will be listed in the June-December catalog which is released in spring.

Create a brilliantly-colored, luminescent painting of fruit and be part of a venerable tradition. It is an ideal medium to create the various textures of fruits; from the fine hairs on a kiwi to the bloom on a plum.
