Art Classes

A- A A+

The picturesque surroundings of Filoli make a wonderful venue for art and artists, providing inspiration, a range of valuable resources, and unique class offerings.

In addition fine art and decorative arts classes, Filoli offers botanical art courses. Botanical art combines the observational skills of a scientist with the sensibility of an artist. The result is a rendering of a plant that is both accurate and beautiful. Botanical art courses include the study of artistic skills and concepts, basic botany, and a variety of mediums.

No experience needed! Unless a prerequisite is noted, all of Filoli’s classes are open to students with no experience.
