The House and Gardens at Filoli cover many acres. Walking or using a wheelchair or electric scooter are the primary ways in which to experience it. Filoli does not have rental wheelchairs available.
Restrooms in the Visitor and Education Center and drinking fountains are wheelchair accessible. Garden paths are brick or gravel, and a wheelchair route is suggested on the map in the self-guided booklet. Please see the “Filoli Visitor Map” link on this page to that same map.
Guests will find reserved handicapped parking at the front of the parking lot closest to the Visitor and Education Center. Should all of those spaces be occupied, you may drop off a guest nearest the Visitor and Education Center before parking your car.
Only leashed service dogs are allowed on the grounds of Filoli. No other animals are permitted. Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.
